This Deed made this twenty sixth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and three Between Ann Lilliston (Daughter of John) of Accomack County in the State of Virginia of the one part and Elijah Lilliston of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Anne Lilliston for and in consideration of the sum of Forty pounds current money of Virginia to her in hand paid by the said Elijah Lilliston the receipt whereof the said Ann doth hereby acknowledge and wholly discharge the said Elijah therefrom Have granted bargained aliened and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain alien and sell unto the said Elijah Lilliston his Heirs and assigns one fifth part of a certain tract of land which was devised to the said Ann Lilliston by her Grand father Elijah Lilliston deceased containing by estimation Fifty three Acres be the same more or less and being in the County of Accomack and Parish of Accomack and bounded as follows to wit by the lands of Levin Whites heirs, John Pruit, Benjamin Pruit, William Middleton, Thomas Hickman & John Dix together with all the rights, priviledges, Rents issues and profits and appurtenances thereunto granted or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said hereby granted bargained and sold one fifth part of the said Tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said Elijah Lilliston his heirs and assigns for and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever but for the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Elijah Lilliston his heirs and assignes for ever and the said Anne Lilliston doth for herself her heirs Executors & administrators covenant promise and agree to and with the said Elijah Lilliston his heirs and assigns Executors & Administrators the premisses aforesaid with the appurtenances against the claim or claims of all and every person and persons whatsoever will warrant and by these presents forever defend In Testimony whereof the said Anne Lilliston doth hereunto set her hand and Seal the day and year above written
