Walczyk This Deed mad the 27th day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred Between Tully Snead and Rosey his wife of Accomack County and State of Virginia of the one part and John O. Twiford of the Same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Tully Snead for and in consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds Currant money of Virginia in Hand paid at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hat Given granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do give frant bargain & Sell alienate and comfirm unto said John O. Twiford his heirs and assigns for ever A certain parcel of land or two lotts in the town of Onancock (alias) port Scarbough in the County aforesd The same being bounded as follows to wit on the East by the Lott of Cave Jones that he lately purchased of the Heirs of John Lyon deceased & David Bowman Deceased North by Onancock Creek South by Street and containing by Estimation one acre of Land be the same more or less with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging To have & to Hold the aforsd bargained House & Lotts to his the said John O. Twiford his heirs & assigns forever, and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatever, and the said Tully Snead and Rosey his wife doth for themselves their Heirs and assigns forever the aforesd bargained One acre of land will for ever warrent and Defend In testimony whereof the said Tully Snead & Rosey his wife hath hereunto set their Hands and affiexed their Seals the day and Year first above Written

Accomack County &c The Commonwealth of Virginia to John S. Ker John Smith & Thos Bayly Gent. Justices of Accomack greetings Whereas Tully Snead of the County of Accomack and Rossetta his Wife by their certain indenture of Bargain and Sale bearing date the 27th day of April have sold and conveyed unto John O. Twiford of the same County the fee simple estate of two lots in the Town of Onancock being one Acres of land with the appurtenances lying and being in the said County of Accomack and Whereas the said Rossetta cannot Conveniently travel to our Distirct Court holden at Accomack Courthouse to make acknowledgement of the said conveyance Therefore we do give unto you or any two or more of you power to recieve the acknowledgement which the said Rossetta shall be willing to make to you of the Conveyance aforesaid contained the said Indenture which is hereto annexed, And we do therfore command that you do personnally go to the said Rossetta and receive her acknowledgement of the same, and Examine her privily and appart from the said Tully Snead her Husband, whether she doth the same freely and voluntarily withou his persuasion or threats and whether she be willing the same should be reocrded in our District Court and when you have recieved her acknowledgement and Examined her as aforesaid that you distinctly and openly certify us there of in our said District Court under your Seals Sending then there there the said Indenture and this Writ Witness Edmund Bayly Clerk of our said Court at the Courthouse the 15th day of October 1800 in the 25th Year of the Commonwealth

By virtue of the above Commission to us directed we the Subscribers have privily examined Rossetta Snead the wife of the said Tully Snead in manner as the commission requires, and have received her acknowledgement of the indenture hereunto annexed, which said Indenture she acknowledged freely and volunatrily without persuasion or threats of the said Tully Snead her husband and that she was willing the same should be recorded in the district Court holden at Accomack Courthouse which we do certify to the Said court under our Hands and Seals this 17th of October 1800
