This Indenture made this Eighteenth day of March Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Six Between William Rowley Taylor of the Parish of Accomack in Virginia of the one part and William Bruington of the same place of the other
part Witnesseth that the said William Rowley Taylor for Sundry good courses and in the consideration of the sum of five shillings current money of Virginia to him paid by the afsd William Bruington at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have bargained Sold enfoeoffed and confirmed and by these presents Do bargain sell, enfeoff and confirm unto the said William Bruington his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situated lying & being in the Parish and County of Accomack near Pokomoke Church being all that unit or parcel of land situated as afsd which came to the possession og the said William R. Taylor by virtue of a Deed of bargain & Sale legally conveyed by the afsd William Bruington & Rhoda his wife and duly executed and to be recorded in the records of Accomack County Court reference thereunto had more fully and at large will appear unto the afsd William R. Taylor in trust for the said William Bruington his heirs and assigns, the said tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and four acres of land by estimation be the same more or less. To have and to hold the afsd bargained & granted premises with all & singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said William Bruington his heirs and assigns for ever [-----] for the only proper use benefit & behoof of the afsd William Bruington his heirs & assigns forever to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever. And the said William R Taylor for himself & his heirs doth hereby covenant to and with the said William Bruington his heirs & assigns for ever that he the said Wm R Taylor the land & premises afsd with all & singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging against himself and against his heirs unto the said William Bruington his heirs & assigns forever will warrant and by these presents for ever defend. In Testimony whereof the said William R Taylor hath here unto set his hand & affixed his Seal the day and Year first above written
