This Indenture made the 30th day of September Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred & ninety nine Between Isaac West of Accomack County of the one part and Thomas Crockett of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said isaad West for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds current money of Virginia to the said Isaac West in hand paid by the said Thomas Crocket at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby ackknowledged hath given granted bargained sold and delivered and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell and deliver, alien enfeoffe and confirm unto the said Thomas Crockett his heirs and assigns forever fifty acres part of a certain Tract of land & Marsh being in Accomack County on Tangeare Island, the lands and Marsh devised to me by the will of my Father Anthony West (decd) To have and to hold the hereby granted and bargained Land & marsh together with the appurtenances to him the said Thomas Crockett his heirs and assigns forever to the only use and benefit and behoof of the said Thomas Crockett his heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever. And the said Isaac West further covenants and agrees to and with the said Thomas Crockett his heirs and assigns for ever to make do or suffer or cause to be made, done or suffered anyother or further Deed or device in the law for the better assuring and comfirming unto the said Thomas Crockett his heirs and assigns forever the said land and Marhs in fee simple together with the appurtenances. In Testimony whereof the said Isaac West party to these presents hath here unto set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and Year first above mentioned
