Deed from John Bloxom to Ebenezer Wheldon 2 November 1779 - Transcribed by Gail M. Walczyk

This Indenture made this 2nd day of November Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Between John Bloxom of Northampton County and Sarah his wife of the one part and Ebenezer Whendon of the parish and County of Accomack of the other part Witnesseth that the said John and Sarah for and in consideration of the scion of three hundred pounds Current money to them paid by by the afsd Ebenezer at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged before Have granted bargained and sold and by these presents Do grant bargain and unto the said Ebenzer his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being the parish and County fsd and bounded as followeth beginning at the furthermost bounder of a tract of Land lately belonging to James Watts decd dividing the same from the land of Gilbert Morris and standing near the edge of Wallops Mill Pond thence running down the said Mill Pond and bounded thereby to a small branch emptying Into the sd pond thence up the said branch the several courses thereof to where the branch prongs thence up the North prong of said branch untill the same intersects the line of the orginal tract thence the courses of the Origninal tract is the first bounder Containing by estimation eighteen acres be the same more or less To Have and to hold the afsd bargain ed and granted premises with and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Ebenezer his heirs and assigns forever and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said John for himself and his heirs doth hereby covenant to and with the afsd Ebenezer his heirs and assigns forever that he the said John the lands and premises afsd with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging against himself and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons that shall now hereafter ever claim any right title or Interest of in and unto the aforesaid bargained premises with their appurtneances will warrant & by thses presence forever defend In tstimony where the said John and Sarah his wife have hereunto set their hand and affixed their seals the day and year above written
