indenture made the first Day of August in the year of our lotd one
thousand Eight hundred and five Getween Hannah Evans, John Evans, Mary
Evans of and Josias Evans and Elizabeth his wife & Elizabeth Evans
and Sarah Evans of Middle Sex County in the State of Virginia of the
one part and Richard Evans Junr of the County of Accomack and State of
Virginia of the other Witnesseth that the said Hannah Evans John Evans
Mary Evans and Josias Evans and elizabeth his wife and Elizabeth Evans
and Sarah Evans for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred
Dollars to them in hand paid by the said Richard Evans before the
execution hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given
granted bargained and Sold aliened released and confirmed and by these
presents do give grant Sell allien release and confirm unto the said
Richard Evans his hiers and assigns forever a certain Island lying in
the Chessepeke Bay and in the County of Accomack & State of
Virginia and parish of St. George Known by name long Island now called
Goos Harbour containing two hundred & Six Acres of land be the same
more or less with all reights priviledges appurtenances thereunto
belonging To have and to hold the said hereby granted premises with
their appurtenances so so as above bounded and described unto the said
Richard Evans his heirs and Assigns forever to the only proper uses
& behoof of him the said Richard Evans his heirs and Assigns
forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose What so ever and
the sain Hannah Evans Mary Evans Josias Evans and Elizabeth Elizabeth
Evans and Sarah Evans their heirs and Assigns forever the hereby
granted premises with the appurtenances unto him the said Richard his
heirs and Assigns forever against the lawfull claim and demand of all
and every person or persons whatsoever claiming or hereafter to lay
claim unto the premises or any part thereof shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents In Testimony whereof we the said
Hannah, John, Mary Josias, Elizabeth, Sarah & Elizabeth hath
hereunto set their Hands and affixed their Seals the day and year above
written

Deed from John Evans to Richard Evans was proved by the Oaths of Jno
