This
Indenture made this nineteenth day of March one thousand Seven hundred
and ninety three between George Gale of Baltimore Town in the State of
Maryland, Gentleman of the one part, and James Duncan of Accomack
County and State of Virginia of the other part Wtinesseth that the said
George Gale for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred Pounds
Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said James Duncan
at or efore the ensealing and delivery of these presents. the Receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, and for other good causes and
considerations him the said George Gale thereunto moving, Hath given
granted bargained and sold, enfeoffed and confirmed, and by these
presents, doth give, grant, bargain and sell enfeoff and confirm unto
the said James duncan his Heirs and assigns forever, all that part or
parcel of land called and Known by the name of Gales Land, lying and
being on the heads of Messongo Cattail and Muddy Creek in Accomack
parish in Accomack County in the State of Virginia with all and
singular the appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging, or in
any wise appertaning, and all the Right and title in Revertion or
Remainder of him the said George Gale therin or thereto to have and to
hold the same and every part thereof to him the said James Duncan and
his hieers and Assigns forever, to the only proper use benefit and
behoof of him the said James Duncan his heirs and Assigns and to and
for no other use intent, or purpose whatsoever. And the said George
Gale for himsel and his heirs dith covenant and agree to and with the
said James Duncan and his heirs and assigns that he the said George
Gale and his heirs at any time or times hereafter will make execute and
deliver to the said James Duncan his heirs and assigns at his or their
Request and Charge any other or further Act Deed or Conveyance for the
mor effectual conveying and assuring the above discribed Tract or
parcel of land to him the said James Duncan and his heirs and assigns
forever, as by him the said James Duncan his heirs and Assigns or by
his or their Council learned in the law shall be reasonably advised or
required And also that hei the said George Gale and his heirs shall and
will warrant and defend the siad tract or parcel of Land and premises
to his the said James Duncan and his heirs and the heirs of Levin Gale
and Leah Gale claiming any thing therein by from or under him or them
or any of them. In Witness whereof the said George Gale hath hereto set
his hand and affiexed his seal the day and Year frist above written
