This Indenture made this 17th day of October Anno domini 1789 Between John Parker Son of William and Ann his wife of the County of Accomack & Commonwealth of Virginia of the one Part and Michael Parker of the County & State afsd of the other Part Witnesseth that the sd John Parker & Ann his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty five Pounds Current Money of Virginia to them in hand Paid by the sd Michael Parker the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and there of do acquit the sd Michael Parker his Heirs &c forever have Granted bargained Sold Alliened and Confirmed and by these Presents do Grant bargain Sell Allien and confirm unto the sd Michael Parker his heirs & assigns forever all that Parcel of Land on they now live Situated and being ind and marsh where the County afsd which sd Land is a Purchase formerly made by William The late father of the Present John and Michael Parker from William Badge as his Deed made Sept 29.1761 more fully Sheweth the sd Land being bound Westerly on Pungoteague Thoroughfare northwardly on the land of William Crowson on Easterly on that of Benjamin Phillips or James Fisher and Southerly Extending along the Land of John Smith to the first bounder Containing one Hundred acres of Land and marsh be the same more or less To have and to hold the sd Granted and & Bargained Land and Premisses with houses and all appurtenances and Priviledges thereunto Belonging or in any way appertaining unto the sd Michael Parker And that the sd Michael Parker his heirs and assigns Shall and may forever hereafter by these Presents Peacably and quietly hold Occupy and Possess all and Covenant and Engage the above Demised Land and Premisses to the sd Michael Parker and his assigns and against the Lawful claim of any Person or Persons blaming or that hereafter Shall claim any right or Property thereto or in will warrant and forever Defend .

This Indenture was acknowledged by the sd John Parker and Anne as their ace & Deed and Ordered to be Recorded the sd Anne having been first Privily Examined as the law directs did Voluntarily Consent thereto Test
