This Indenture made the 27th day of February in the third Year of his lorships Dominion in the Year of Our Lord God one thousand Seven hundred eighteen nineteen, between John Parker of Accomack County in the Collony of Virginia and ffrances his Wife on the one part and William Belitha of Somersett County in the Province of Maryland on the other party Witnesseth that whereas William Coulbourne late of Somersett County in the Province of Maryland Gent and Anne his Wife did by their Deed of Grant under their hands & Seals bearing date the 18th day of March one thousand Six hundred & Ninety years, give Grant bargain, Sell and Alienate unto Robert Coulbourne of the Same County & province and to his heirs and assigns for Ever for the Consideration in the said Deed mentioned a Certain tract or parcell of Land now called ffathers Intent, lying & being in Somersett County on the Southside of Annamessex River & on the eastermost Side of a Creek issueing out of the same comonly called Harts Creek being part of a tract of Land formerly surveyed for Collo Wm Coulbourne called Pomefret containing fourteen hundred acres, being bounded as followeth, beginning at a marked Oak standing near the mouth of a Gutt issueing out of the eastermost Side of Harts Creek aforesd Thence with a Line drawn North Eighteen Degrees westerly twelve Poles thence North thirty five degrees easterly Sixteen Pole to the Said Gutts mouth, thence up & with the southern Side of the Said Gutt North Seventy one Degrees easterly fourth four Poles, Thence North Eighty five Degrees easterly Twenty Seven poles to a marked White Oak Standing near the head of the aforesaid Gutt Thence [-----] a Line drawn South forty Six Degrees Easterly Eight Pole to another mark'd White Oak Standing near the head of Harts Creek being the first bounder of a Tract of land formerly Surveyed for Robert Hart called Hearts ease, and also a Corner tree of the Tract called Pomefret thence aling the Line of the Tracts aforesaid South west Seventy Eight Poles thence down Harts Creek North twenty nine degrees westerly thirty two poles, Thence North Sixty two degrees westerly twenty four pole and from thence with a right Line drawn to the first bounder containing fifty five acres fifteen rood together with all its rights profitts benefitts & Priviledges, Wayes Easements, houses, ffences, Orchards, Timber or Tumberlike trees thereupon with all other the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have & to hold the Same unto him the Said Robert Coulbourne and to his heirs & Assignes for Ever, without any Mortgage, redemption Use or Limitation, to [-----] Alter, change or Determine the Same And Whereas the aforesaid Robt Coulbourne by his Last Will & Testament the a foresaid Land & premises called Fathers Intent containing fifty five acres fifteen Rood to his Daughter Frances and to her heirs did Give bequeath as by ye Said Will & Testamt reference thereunto being had doth may more largely & amply appear, Now this indenture Witnesseth the aforesaid Robert Coulbourn for Divers Goods Causes & Valluable Considerations them thereunto moveing as also for and in Consideration of Thirty Three pounds Currt money of ye Collony of Virginia to them in hand paid by the above named William Belitha before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents, Whereof and Wherewith the said John Parker & ffrances his Wife Do acknowledge themselves fully & wholly to be Satisfied and paid and of Every part parcell thereof do acquitt and Discharge the above named William Belitha his heirs & assigns for Ever by these presents have given Granted bargained Sold,enfeofed & Confirmed and by these presents Do fully freely and absolutely Give grant bargain Sell enfeofe & confirm unto the above William Belitha & mary his Wife and those Lawfully begotten of them all the aforesaid Land and premises Called ffather's Intent containing fifty five acres fifteen Rood together wth all Singular the houses, Orchards, Gardens, Woods, Timber or Timberlike Trees wayes Easements, with all other appurtenances of what Nature kind soever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, To have & to Hold the same unto them the Said William Belitha & Mary his Wife and to the heirs Lawfully begotten of their Bodies without any Martgage Redemption use or Limitation, to [-----] alter Change or Determine the Same (Royall Mines excepted) and the rents & Services which shall become due & payable to the Lord or Lords of the ffee or ffees always Excepted and foreprized and the said John Parker and ffrances his Wife Do by these presents and for ever freely acquitt & discharge the aforesaid Tract of land & premises called Fathers Intent of & from all manner or former & other bargains Grants Sales, forfeitures, Joyntures, Dowers & Surrenders and off and from all other Titles, Incumberances, Claims, and Demands whatsoever from all the heirs Extrs Admrs or assigns of the above said Robert Coulbourne, and that they the said John Parker & ffrances his Wife Give Grant bargain, Sell Alienate Confirm & Deliver the aforesaid lands & benefitts unto them the Said Wm. Belitha & Mary his Wife and to the heirs begotten of their Bodies as they will for Ever Warrant and Defend the Same unto Them the said Wm Belitha & Mary his Wife and the heirs of their bodies from all manner of persons now claiming or to Claim from by or under them the said John Parker and ffrance his Wife their heirs Extrs Admrs as also from the heirs of Robert Coulbourne aforesaid any Rights titles or Interest of in or to the abovesaid Tract of Land & premises, and further the abovesd John Parker & ffrances his Wife for themselves their heirs Extrs Admrs and Every of them shall & will from time to time and at all any time hereafter for and during the spain of Severn Years next ensueing the Date hereof att & upon the reasonable request & only at the Cost & Charge in the Law of term the Said William Belitha & Mary his Wife their heirs &c make doe acknowledge Execute & Suffer or Cause to be done all & Every other Lawfull act or acts deed or Deeds Devise or Devises whatsoever fot the better settling and more sure makeing over the aforesaid lands & premises unto the abovesaid William Belitha and mary his Wife Their heirs & lawfully begottten of their Bodies as his or Their Councell learned in the Law Shall be reasonably Devised advised or Required according to the true Intent meaning & purpose hereof In Confirmation & full assurance of the Truth above Written the said John Parker & ffrances his Wife have to this prsent Indenture Sett their hands and Seals Giving Deed & State wth full & peaceable possession by leivery & Seizen of the abovesaid Lands & premises as Witness the day & Year first above Expressed

That this day viz the 27th Day of ffebruary in the 3d Year of his Lordships Domim: and in the year of our Lord God one thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen Nineteen Before us the Subscribers two of his Lordps Justices of [-----] for the County of Somersett in the Province of maryland came John Parker & ffrances his Wife in their propper person being parties to the within Indenture, and the said ffrance being by us secretly Examined according to a certain Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided for the enrollent of Conveyance Did acknowledge the said Tract of land and premises called ffathers Intent to the Right of them the Wm. Belitha and Mary his Wife and to their heirs aforesaid, and for this acknowledgment Quitt Claim & Agreement the Said William Belitha hath Given them the said John Parker & ffrances his Wife thirty three pounds Currant Monye of Virginia
