NOTE: Although Nottinghams abstract states JESSE MILLS and To daughter HESSEY MILLS, the 7 December 1797 deed from Kelly to Berry shows that they were JESSE AND HESSEY MILES.

The Kelly Berry deed dated 7 Decmeber 1797 reads in part:
. . . whereof the said Elizabeth Kelly Rachel Kelly Jesse Miles & Hessy Miles his wife do hereby acknowledge hath Bargained and doth hereby Bargain and Sell unto the afsd Aben Berry his heirs a assigns for ever one Acres and one half of Land be the same more or less with the appurtenances thereunto belonging Lying and being in the County and Parish of Accomack in the State of Virginia it part of the Tract of Land belongto Joseph Kelly Decd . . .
