State of Maryland Worcester County Sct.
Know all men by these presents that I Sarah Benson of Kent County in
the state of Delaware am held and firmly bound unto Levin Bell of
Accomack County Virginia in the full and just sum of one thousand
pounds current money of Maryland to which payment well and truly to be
made and done I bind myself my heirs Executors or Administrators in and
for the whole firmly by these presents Sealed with my Seal and dated
this fourteenth day of November Seventeen hundred and eighty Seven.
The
Condition of the above obligation is such that of the above bound Sarah
Watts Benson her heirs Executors or Administrators sall and will at any
time herafter convey, confirm and sell over all her right, title, claim
and interest of in and unto all the real estate of William Bell or his
Daughter Sarah (late of Accomack County deceased) viz; that she the
said Sarah Watts Benson will convey in fee to Levin Bell all her right.
& title of in and unto the lands and tenements of the aforesaid
deceased persons and likewise confirm unto the said Levin all her right
and title to the Negroes the late property as afsd in such manner that
the said Levin shall peaceably and quietly him his Heirs Excutors or
Administrators enjoy without molestation all th afsd property then the
above obligation to be void other wise to be and remain in full force
& virtue in Law

Daniel Mifflin do hereby assign and transfer unto the said Daniel his

Anno Domini one thousand and Seven hundred and eight nine
