Daniel Jenifer
[A187] Patent to Daniel Jenifer for 1,500 acres called Ginoreage Island. Patent to William Whittington for 5,800 acres being all "Jengoteag Island," which further described as being north of Kekotank alias Occocomson Island, both being early names for the present Wallop's Island. 1677 Patent to Jenifer for the same 5,800 acres as having been deserted by Whittington. 1684 Patent to Thomas Clayton for the same acreage as having been deserted by Jenifer.

1691 Joint patent to William Kendall and John Robins for the island as 1,500 acres, but in the same year there was recorded a deed of partion dor the whole island of 5,800 acres between William and Ann Kendall and John Robins, the latter to have the south half (Whitelaw: 1378).
