Margaret Addison, daughter of Thomas Addison and Sabra, his wife, was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1732. She died after 19 December 1807 (Walczyk Processions1796-1816, p. 125). She married twice. She married George Green circa 1750. George was born circa 1725. George died before 10 June 1755 (Marshall Wills, p. 363). George Green was the administrator of the estate of John Green dec'd. on 1 June 1736 in Accomack Co., VA (Nottingham Wills, p. 111). On 10 June 1755 the estate of George Green was administered to Margaret Addison first setting apart the estate of Sophia, Mrs. Elias Dunton Jr, and to pay the same to the said Elias (Marshall Wills, p. 363). On 1 December 1795 the lands of Peggy Rodgers were processioned (Walczyk Processions1796-1816, p. 9, 10). The text reads in part:

On 19 December 1807 the lands of Peggy Rodgers were processioned (125) The text in part reads:
Decr 19th 1807 - Lines between George Hack & Peggy Rogers, Wm Colona & Abel Rogers present. Lines between George Hack & Richd Cutler, same present. Lines between Richd Cutler & Comfort Colona, same present. Lines between Richd Cutler & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between Comfort Colona & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between Eliza & Ann Mayo & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between William Colona & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between Ann Hutchinson & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between Eli Hornsby & Peggy Rodgers, same present. Lines between Eli Hornsby & Wm Colona, same present.
NOTE: This was the same land that was processioned in 1780 in her husband Peter's name

She married Peter Rodgers after 10 June 1755 in Accomack Co., VA (323). Peter was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1730. Peter was the son of John Rodgers and Sarah Read. Peter died before 26 January 1779. On 27 August 1745 his orphan's account was recorded by his guardian Thomas Hall (Walczyk Orphans 1741-1770, p. 6) The text reads:
At a Court held for Accomack County August 27th 1745. Thomas Hall Security for the Administration on the Estate of the within John Rodgers deced made oath to the within Account against the estate of the said John Rodgers within named & Ordered to be Recorded.

In August Court, in Northampton Co. VA an account of the sales of her estate was recorded (125). The text reads: August 1761 in Northampton Co., VA. An Acco: Sales of the Estate of Patience Green Orp: [Orphan] was Sworn to by Peter Rogers & Ordd [Ordered] to be recorded. Whitelaw states on p. 679:

1771 - Peter Hack give an unspecified acreage to his son George "It being the Plantation whereon the said George now lives and bounded to wit, beginning at the Tan vats at the Head of a small Creek or Gut near Gale's old houses and running a direct line across the Neck to the Northwest corner of Richard Cutler's Land, it being a corner tree between Richard Cutler, Peter Rogers and Peter Hack, Thence along the land of Richard Cuter to Andua Creek."
In 1780 the lands of Peter Rodgers were processioned (Walczyk Processions1723-1792, p. 146).

The text in part reads:
No 10 Ordered that John Read, Nathan Adderson & James Broughton should Procession the Precincts from the head of Andua to Washburns Branch, from thence to Seymures Mill, Including Richard Cutlar, Peter Rodgers present; the line between Richard Cutlar, Peter Hack Senr; also between Peter Hack & Peter Rodgers; also between Peter Rodgers & Richard Cutlar, Peter Rodgers, William Coloney, Geo: Hack present; the Choping of the Lines between Peter Rodgers and Francinia Muire; also the Lines between William Coloney & Peter Rodgers, Richd Cutlar, Peter Rodgers & Robert Andrews present; . . .
Peter made a will on 11 December 1778 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 26 January 1779 (Nottingham Wills, p. 314). An abstract of his will reads:
RODGERS, PETER - 11 Dec. 1778 - 26 Jan. 1779 - To wife Peggy Rodgers use of land containing 260 acres during her widow, reversion to my son Peter Rodgers (under age). To daughter Polley. To son John Rodgers. To son Levi Rodgers (under age). To daughter Margret Rodgers. William Coloney & son Peter Exrs. Witt: William Moore, Isaac Starling, Willam Coloney. In order of probate: Peter Rodgers heir at law to the testator.
Margaret Addison and George Green had the following child:

1. Patience was born in Accomack Co., VA on 1 December 1755 (171). She died on 23 September 1835 (171). She had first married Bartholomew Taylor circa 1774 in Accomack Co., VA. He was the son of Bartholomew Taylor He died before 22 September 1785 Nottingham Wills, p. 358). In August Court, in Northampton Co. VA an account of the sales of her estate was recorded (Walczyk Minutes 1754-1761, p. 125). The text reads: August 1761 in Northampton Co., VA. An Acco: Sales of the Estate of Patience Green Orp: [Orphan] was Sworn to by Peter Rogers & Ordd [Ordered] to be recorded.

She married second Samuel Trader circa 1785. He was the son of Littleton Trader and Patience Burton. Margaret Addison and Peter Rodgers had the following children:

1. Margaret Rodgers was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1756.

2. Polly Rodgers was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1758.

3. Peter Rodgers was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1760. He married Hester Colonna circa 1785 in Accomack Co., VA. Hester was born circa 1767. She was the daughter of William Colonna and Comfort Hall (Miles & Miles Wills, p. 133, 134). Peter served in the Militia during the Revolutionary War (Edwards Ames Mears, p. 143, 144). The court records state:
Peter Rodgers served and was actually in the camp and on duty in the field and in Garrison two years as a soldier in the Militia of this County during the Revolutionary War ... During nearly all of the war the militia was frequently called out to keep guard and were in service a considerable portion of the time. The companies performed duty frequently and alternately in keeping guard and preventing alarms . . . were engaged principally on the sea coast and on the Chesapeake Bay coast in keeping guard and preventing the army from landing,plundering the county and committing depredations of like kind. The county was very much exposed and frequent alarms were given and the Militia was often compelled to turn out to defend the county. He performed service principally in at Pungoteague and Andua.
Peter Rodgers and Hester Colonna had the following children: i. Hester Rodgers was born circa 1789; ii. Margaret Rodgers was born circa 1791; iii. Christobell Rodgers was born circa 1794.

4. John Rodgers was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1763.

5. Levi Rodgers Levi Rodgers was born in 1764. Levi died on 21 April 1819. He was buried in the Rodgers Cemetery east of Crockett Town (Mahalyka Graven, p. 231).
