Mt. Nebo Baptist Church

MT. NEBO BAPTIST CHURCH

In 1891 the African American Baptists of Slutkill Neck organized a church and bought a half acre plot of ground and built their new church.  The original building is still in use, and has had many improvements and additions over the years (Mariner 492).  It is located on the right side of Dahl's Swamp. There is a cemetery on the property.
