Thomas Parker, son of Clement Parker and Rosannah his wife was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1762. Thomas died before 24 June 1793 (Nottingham Wills, p. 399).
He married Elizabeth circa 1787 in Accomack Co., VA. Her surname is unknown. Elizabeth, was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1769. Elizabeth, died before 14 May 1795. An abstract of her will reads:PARKER, ELIZABETH - 20 Feb. 1795 - 14 May 1795 - Whole estate to my only child Elizabeth Parker. Friend John Custis guardian to my said child. John Custis Exr. Witt: Southy Satchell, George Poulson.
In Clement Parker will on 2 April 1783 in Accomack Co., VA, Thomas was named as an heir. It was probated 30 April 1783 (Nottingham Wills, p. 338). An abstract of his will reads: To son Thomas part of my land adjouning me & William Coard. Remainder of my land to my 3 sons James, Clement Deshiell, & George Parker. Daughter Rosy, Daughter Nancy. Son Thomas to have the tuition on my 2 youngest sons. until they come to the age of 16. 6 above named resid. legatees. Son & friend Thomas Bayley Extrs. Thomas registered to pay taxes in 1787 in Accomack Co., VA (Yantis & Love, 99). Thomas was charged with the tax for himself, 4 blacks over 16, 3 blacks under 16, 4 horses, mares, colts & mules, 8 head of cattle. NOTE: son Clemt., two wheeled carriage, stud horse 0.18.0.
Thomas made a will on 5 April 1793 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 24 June 1793 (Nottingham Wills, p. 399). An abstract of his will reads: PARKER, THOMAS, son of Clement - 5 Apr. 1793 - 24 June 1793 - The land that falls to me by the death of my brother Clement Parker to be sold & after paying 1/4 of his expenses for his last sickness & funeral expenses in Philadelphia, the balance to be applied toward the payment of my debts & a bond due to the Exr. of George Parker, deceased, which George Poulson is liable for, being my security. Friend John Custis (B.S.) Exr. Witt: John Finney, Sarah Smith.
On 7 March 1796 the lands of the heirs of Thomas Parker were processioned. The text reads in part: March 7th . . . Lines between George Parker & Thomas Parker's heirs. Lines between George Parker & Levin Joynes' heirs. Lines between George Parker & Mitchel Chandler. Lines between Mitchel Chandler & John Cropper. Lines between Mitchel Chandler & Levin Joynes' heirs. Lines between John Cropper & Levin Joynes' heirs. Lines between Thos Parker's heirs & Levin Joynes' heirs. Lines between Thos Parker's heirs & Richd Drummond’s heirs (Walczyk Processions, p. 13).
Thomas Parker and Elizabeth had the following child:
i. Elizabeth Parker was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1789. Elizabeth died before October Court 1799. (Survey Book 2, p. 129). The land was divided between John Parker in right of his wife Nancy, George Parker and Rosey Schoolfield, the living siblings of deceased her father Thomas Parker. SEE: Deed
