William Parramore Sr., son of Thomas Parramore and Joanna Custis Hope (Nottingham Wills, p. 218), was born in Accomack Co., VA on 27 December 1741 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). William died on 4 June 1816 (214). He married twice. He married Sarah Seymour on 22 October 1763 in Northampton County (Mihalyka Marriages, p. 83). The text reads: Parramore, William to Sarah Seymour 22 October 1763; William of Accomack Co. & son of Thomas Parramore Gent. also of Accomack Co.; daughter of Digby Seymour Gent. dec'd; Michael Christian security. Sarah was born in 1745. (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). Sarah was the daughter of William Digby Seymour and Rose Powell (Mihalyka Marriages, p. 83). Sarah died on 25 April 1803 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). Her tombstone was engraved with "Sarah Parramore, wife of William, daughter of Digby and Rose Seymour of Northampton, age 63 (214). Both William and Sarah were buried in a family cemetery at Locustville (Mihalyka Graven, p. xxx).He married Sarah Custis on 12 November 1802 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman Marriages, p. 222). The text reads: Parramore, William Sr. / Sarah Grinalds; 12 November 1802, John Henderson security. Sarah was born circa 1738. Sarah was the daughter of Robinson Custis and Mary Parramore (Whitelaw, p. 1061). She died before 22 February 1819 (Miles & Miles Wills, p. 418). She was married four times (1061). She married first James Justice circa 1756 in Accomack Co., VA (Whitelaw, p. 1061).In James Justice's will on 31 August 1769 in Accomack Co., VA, Sarah was named as an heir. It was probated 26 December 1769. An abstract of his will reads:
JUSTICE, JAMES - 31 Aug. 1769 . 26 Dec. 1769 - Wife Sarah. Should my wife be with child I give said child my plantation at Gartha & the plantation where I now live. To wife plantation called Garthia & the Lower Beech, her dower in Keccotank & wbole estate for life. To cousin Arthur Teackle plantation at Gargatha at the death of my wife. Remainder of estate to be divided between my 2 cousins John & Arthur Teackle. Wife Exec. Witt: Thomas Pettit, Robert James, Henry Custis. p. 373 In order of probate: Susanna Justice heir at law to the testator.
She married second George Abbott in March 1770 in Accomack Co., VA (Dorman Vol. II, p. 791). Sarah was the administrator of the estate of George Abbott on 1 September 1785 in Accomack Co., VA; Henry Custis, seaside, & John Burton security - 1 Sept. 1785 (Nottingham Wills, p. 345).

Third, she married Southey Grinalds on 2 August 1786 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman Marriages, p. 115). The text reads: Grinales, Southy / Sarah Abbot; 2 August 1786; Edmund Custis security. In Southey Grinalds will on 20 April 1798 in Accomack Co., VA, Sarah was named as an heir. It was probated 20 October 1798 (Nottingham Wills, p. 407). An abstract of his will reads:
GRINALDS, SOUTHY - 20 Apr. 1798 - 20 Oct. 1798 - To wife Sarah Grinalds. To brother Elijah Grinalds. To son in law Tommey Abbott. To John Grinalds. To Thomas Grinalds six silver tea spoons marked "T.G." &c. To nephew William Grinalds. To nephew Southy Grinalds 6 silver tea spoons marked "S.S.G." &c. Stock not already given to be divided between my wife & mother Catharine Grinalds. Wife & brother Elijah to settle my estate Not witnessed. Proved by John Teackle, Sr. & Charles Stockly
Her fourth and last husband was William Parramore. They were married on 12 November 1802 (Turman Marriages, p. 222). The text reads: Parramore, William Sr. / Sarah Grinalds; 12 November 1802, John Henderson security.

Sarah made a will on 4 June 1818. Ir was probated 22 February 1819. An abstract of her will reads:
PARRAMORE, SARAH - 4 June 1818 / 22 February 1819 - William D. Cropper & James Ashby Extrs. To granddaughter Maria Cropper ... & 1/5 of estate, but if William D. Cropper should bring account against me, then deduct from the above legacy. To William abbott, Samuel Custis Abbott, & David Davis Drummond Abbott, sons of Tommy Abbott dec'd 3/5 of my estate. [They are under age.] To Mary Abbott Parramore Abbott & Clarissa Peck Abbott, daughters of James J. Abbott dec'd 1/6 of my estate. [They are under age.] Witt: Sally Russell, David Watts & Levi Core. Probate: Sebastian Cropper & William Welburn securities.
In Thomas Parramore's will on 8 May 1773 in Accomack Co., VA, William was named as an heir. It was probated 27 December 1774. An abstract of his will reads:
PARRAMORE, THOMAS - 8 May 1773 - 27 Dec. 1774 - Son William Parramore. To son John Parramore my plantation in Maryland. To son Thomas Parramore 100 acres of marsh which I bought of John Michael, my lease Hold Estate which I bought in Bradford's Neck, as also the time to come, which shall be the season after my death, in the Lease I have from Sacker Shield where my son William now lives. Son in law Ezekiel Young. Son in law Major Guy. To grandaughter Anne Abbott, wife of Richard Abbott. Grandchildren John & Sarah Stran. Grandsons John & Robert Purnell. To Ann Holland, daughter of my son in law William Holland. Grandaughter Mary Holland, daughter of William. Grandson William Stran. To son William Parramore 100 acres land & marsh on the Beach which I bought of Mr. William Burton, deceased Son William my heir apparent. Daughters Sarah Guy & Elizabeth Guy. Sons William, John & Thomas, daughter Mary Holland & the children of Sinah Stran, deceased residual legatees. Sons William, John & Thomas Parramore Exrs. Witt: Samuel Long, Henry Heath, George Bell.
Whitelaw states on p. 869:

1774 - Thomas Parramore survived Joanna and in his will he mentioned three sons: William "my heir apparent," John and Thomas; also numerous grandchildren by his several daughters. William received this landm John was given land in Maryland, and Thomas later established at N116C. . . . The son William Parramore was a prominent man in the community during his long and useful life and in 1777 was one of the justices who transferred their allegiance from the Crown to the Commonwealth of Virginia. He was a colonel of the militia during the Revolution.
On 29 December 1795 in Accomack Co., VA, the boundaries of the lands of William Parramore Sr. processioned (Walczyk Processions, p. 3). The procession reads in part:
Third [3rd] District Decr 29th - Lines between William Parramore & William Floyd. Lines between Samuel Long's heirs & William Floyd. Lines between Samuel Long's heirs & Willm Parramore Junr. Lines between William Parramore Senr & Tinley Rodgers. William Parramore Junr & . William Parramore, Peter Shield, Tinley Rodgers, Andrew Stewart & the processioners present on above processions.
William made a will on 25 April 1797. It was probated on 24 June 1816 (Miles & Miles Wills, p. 419). An abstract of his will reads:
PARRAMORE, WILLIAM - 25 April 1797 - 24 June 1816 - To son Thomas Parramore the remainder of land whereon I now live that I have not conveyed to my son William Parramore. Also to Thomas 1/2 pf all my Island land & marsh. to my son William Parramore 1/2 of my Island land & marshes & also ... Witt: Thomas Bagwell, John Shield & Charles Wharton. Probate: All three witnesses being now dead, William Gibb, Thomas Cropper & Richard D. Bayly swore that they were well acquainted with the handwriting of William Parramore dec'd. Thomas Parramore & William Parramore became the Admrs. with John Teackle & George Scarburgh securities on the $30,000 bond.
William Parramore Sr. and Sarah Seymour had the following children:

1. Thomas Parramore was born in Accomack Co., VA on 24 December 1764 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). Thomas died on 18 May 1832 (214). He married Mary Darby on 22 April 1797 in Northampton Co., VA. Mary was born in Accomack Co., VA on 24 January 1780.(Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). Mary was the daughter of John Darby and Esther Harmanson (Walczyk Chancery 1794-1800, p 64). Mary died on 17 July 1848 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214).

2. William Parramore Jr., was born in Accomack Co., VA 24 December 1767 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). William died on 21 August 1841 (214). He married Margaret Teackle on 27 June 1796 in Accomack Co., VA. She was the daughter of Levin Teackle and Ann Arbuckle (Nottingham Wills, p. 229). She was born in 1764 (Mihalyka Graven, p. 214). Margaret died on 24 August 1824 (214).
