SAMUEL BAGGESamuel made a will on 30 January 1774 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 27 December 1774 (Nottingham, Wills, p. 281). An abstract of his will reads:

BAGGE, SAMUEL - 30 Jan. 1774 - 27 Dec. 1774 - Son William Bagge (under age). Bal. of estate to be divided between the remainder of my children which is eight, & unborn child. Wife (no name) Exec., she to pay my children their estates when they come to age or marry. Not witnessed. Proved by James Henry & William Polk, Gent.Sources:In 1756 Fisher Bradford gave 400 acres of land to his daughter Anne, in contemplation of her marriage to Samuel Bagge (Whitelaw, p. 779). This was the land that William Bradford had given to his son Fisher located on the Broadwater of Bradford's Bay (771).Ann Bradford and Samuel Bagge had the following children:
On 13 July 1759, he along with Samuel Beech, Ezekiel Ashby, Joseph Beech, John Lingoe, Fisher Bradford and Rowland Savage, witnessed the procession for that year (Walczyk, 1723-1792, p. 92.
In 1763 Fifth precinct the procession read: from Knocks Branch to Meeres Branch . . . between John Kellam and Saml Bagge; the Line between Fisher Bradford & Saml Bagge; also between Saml Bagge & Levin Teackle Stopt by Saml Bagge (117).
In 1771 his land again was processioned (131). The text reads:Janry the 6th between Levin Teackle & Babel Kellam; & between Levin Teackle & Jos: Beech; & between Saml Bagge & Joseph Beech; & between Levin Teackle & Saml Bagge; & between Babel Kellam & Saml Bagge. . . March 2nd between Saml Bagge & Nathl Bradford; & between Saml Bagge & John Bradford, head line & Nathaniel Bradford & John Bradford head line; & between Nathaniel Bradford & Betty Lingo & Nathl Bradford & Wm. Bell; & between Nathl Bradford & Wm. Stockley been present William Stockley & Nathl Bradford & Saml Bagge, Wm. BellIn Fisher Bradford will on 2 July 1763 in Accomack Co., VA, Ann was named as an heir. It was probated 29 May 1764 (Nottingham, Wills, p. 219). An abstract of his will reads:BRADFORD, FISHER - 2 July 1763 - 29 May 1764 - To son Nathaniel Bradford all my land in Matchepungo Neck being 508 acres, wife to have use of same during her life. To daughter Anne, wife of Samuel Bagge, 1s. Daughter Susannah Bradford. Daughter Betty Bradf ord. Daughter Mary Bradford. Daughter Rachel Bradford. Daughter Esther Bradford. Wife Mary Bradford Exec. Witt: William Stockly, George Bell, John Bradford, James Bradford. In order of prob: James Henry app. guardian to Nathaniel Bradford, heir at law to the testator.In 1776 the lands of Ann Bagge were processioned (Walczyk, 1723-1792, p. 136). Bradford, Anne Bagge, John Kellam, Arthur Teackle's heirs, Jno Lingo, Robert Guy, Abel Mears, Kendal Beech, George Coleburn, Robert Coleburn's heirs & John Spiers (Walczyk, 1796-1816, p. 7).
Ann made a will on 7 November 1796 in Accomack Co., VA. It was probated 31 December 1799 (Nottingham, Wills, p. 453). An abstract of her will reads:BAGGE, ANN - 7 Nov. 1796 - Partly proved 25 June 1798 - Further proved 30 July 1798 - Prob: 31 Dec. 1799 - To son William Bagge 200 acres adjcent the land of John Kellam & Thomas Hall Bradford, being the land where I now live, provided he pay to his 3 daughters (being the children of his first wife), namely Nancy, Axy & Elizabeth, the sum of 35£ each as they arrive to the age of 21 years or marry. To son Luke Bagge 100 acres adjacent the above. provided he pay to my daughter Nancy Read 20£ & 30£ to my daughter Molly. To my son Theophilus Bagge 40 acres adjacent the land belonging to the heirs of Arthur Teackle & Kendall Beach for life. To son Samuel Bagge the remainder of my land including the 40 acres lent my son Theophilus, provided he pay to my 3 grandchildren Andrew Wyatt, Ismae Wyatt & Sally Wyatt, children of William Wyatt, the sum of 10£ as they severally arrive to the age of 21 years.To grandaughter Sally Bunker. Sons William & Luke Bagge Exrs. Witt: William Gibb, John Bell Gibb, William Gibb, Jr. In order of probate: Thomas Smith qualified.
+i. William Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1759 (Walczyk Chancery, 1773-1793, p. 160) . William died before 29 January 1798 (Nottingham, p. 439). He married twice. He married first, Margaret circa 1783 in Accomack Co., VA. Her surname is unknown. Margaret, was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1759. The name of his second wife is unknown. They were married circa 1786. She was born circa 1767. On 26 August 1788 he deposed that he was 29 (Walczyk, Chancery, 1773-1793, p. 160). For a full deposition see The Deposition of William Bagge.On 29 January 1798 the estate of William Bagge was administered by Isma Wyatt (Nottingham, p. 439). BAGGE, WILLIAM - Letters of Administration on his estate were granted to Isma Wyatt - John Addison, Sacker Stringer & Arthur Savage security.
On 28 November 1798 two hundred Acres of land for the heirs of Wm Bagg decd. were surveyed (Surveyors Book 2, p. 95). See the Bagg Survey.
William Bagge and Margaret his first wife had the following children: Elizabeth Bagge circa 1783; Nancy Bagge circa 1785; Achsah Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1786. (Nottingham, p.453).
William Bagge and his second wife had the following children: Samuel Bagge was born circa 1790. Samuel died in 1803. Among other items his orphans account was debited for James Polk for your Coffin 12/. 00.12.0, Burying fees 6/. 00.06.0 (Walczyk, Orphans 1802-1805, p. 131); Susannah Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1792 (132).
ii. Luke Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1760. On 29 November 1798 one hundred acres of the property of Anne Bag was surveyed (Book 2, p. 94) The text reads:
Surveyed at the Request of Luke Bag One Hundred Acres of land late the property of Anne Bag decd. by & by her devised to Luke Bag which lands are Situate lying and being in the Parish of St. George and County of Accomack and bounded as follows towit, on the S. E by the lands of the heirs of Wm. Bag decd. on the N. E by the lands of Levin Teackle and the land of Babel Kellams heirs, on the N. W by the lands in which Theophilus Bag hath a life Estate and on the S. W by the lands of Thomas Hall Bradford See plat belowiii. Theophilus Bagge was born circa 1760.

+iv. 5. [F1] Bagge, daughter of Ann Bradford and Samuel Bagge was born circa 1763. She married a Mr Bunker circa 1783. He was born circa 1758. Circa 1785 had Sally Bunker (Nottingham p. 453)
+v. 6. [F2] Bagge daughter of Ann Bradford and Samuel Bagge was born circa 1765. She married William Wyatt circa 1785. William was born circa 1754. William was the son of Joshua Wyatt and his wife (Nottingham p. 401). The name of his second wife is unknown. They were married circa 1779 in Accomack Co., VA. His third wife's name was Elizabeth (Miles. Wills, p. 628).. They were married circa 1793. William died before 27 December 1802 (628). On 27 December 1802 the estate of William Wyatt was administered to Joshua G. Wyatt (628). [F2] Bagge and William Wyatt had the following children: Andrew Wyatt circa 1787; Isma Wyatt circa 1790; Sally Wyatt was born circa 1793 (Walzcyk, Oprhans 1802-1805, p. 108).
vi. Nancy Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1767.
vii. Charity Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1768. She married Abraham Foster on 21 February 1786 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman, p. 107). The text reads: Foster, Abraham to Charity Bagge on 21 February 1786. William Gibb security.
viii. Mary Bagge was born circa 1770.
ix. Samuel Bagge was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1773. Samuel died before 9 January 1812. On this day the lands of Samuel Bagge Jr. decd were processioned. On 9 January 1812 in Accomack Co., VA, the boundaries of the lands of Samuel Bagge of Samuel . (Walczyk, 1796-1816, p. 156). The text reads:No 5 St George - By order of the Honorable Court of Accomack County, We have processioned all the lands is District No 5 as follows to wit: . . . Lines between Lott Ward & Saml Bagg's heirs. Lines between Jno Bell & Saml Bagg Junr's heirs. . . .
