Richard was the son of Solomon Walter and Tabitha Savage (Nottingham Land Causes, pp. 98, 99). Richard died before 25 September 1787 (Nottingham Wills, p. 368). born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1769. She married Richard Cutlar circa 1788. Richard was born circa 1763.
Richard was the son of John Cutlar and his wife. In John Cutlar's will Richard was
named as an heir. It was probated Nottingham Wills, p. 362). An abstract
of his will reads:
CUTLER, JOHN - 20 Feb. 1786 - 28 Mar. 1786 - To wife Polly whole estate to bring up my children till they come to the age of 14, & then to be equally divided between my wife Polly & 3 youngest children George, Peter & Rosanna. Wife Polly, father Richard Cutler & John Rodgers Exrs. Witt: Richard Cutler, Betty Cutler, Richard Cutler & Betty Bishop. On 26 May 1812 Rachel Walter mentioned in court on 26 May 1812 in Accomack Co., VA (Nottingham Land Causes, p. 98, 99).
2. Tabitha Walter was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1772. Tabitha
died before 26 May 1812. She was not mentioned in the above Land Cause (Nottingham
Land Causes, p. 98, 99).
3. Richard Walter was born in Accomack Co., VA on 20 January 1774
(Mihalyka Graven, p. 281). Richard died on 26 January 1840 (281).

Thomas Walter was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1778. On 26 May 1812 Thomas Walter
was mentioned in court (Nottingham Land Causes, p. 98, 99).
5. Solomon
Walter was born in Accomack Co., VA circa 1780. He married Sally Bunker on 9 December
1803 in Accomack Co., VA (Turman Marriage, p. 305). Walter, Solomon / Sally
Brinker 9 December 1803. John Sturgis security. Sally was born circa 1785. Sally
was the granddaughter Samuel Bagge and Ann Bradford Bagge (Nottingham Wills, p. 453,
354). On 7 November 1796, Sally was named as heir in the will of her grandmother
Ann Bradford Bagge. It was partly proved on 25 June 1798, Further proved 30
July 1798 and probated on 31 December 1799 (454). An abstract of her will reads:
To son William Bagge 200 acres adjcent the land of John Kellam & Thomas Hall Bradford, being the land where I now live, provided he pay to his 3 daughters (being the children of his first wife), namely Nancy, Axy & Elizabeth, the sum of 35£ each as they arrive to the age of 21 years or marry. To son Luke Bagge 100 acres adjcent the above. provided he pay to my daughter Nancy Read 20£ & 30£ to my daughter Molly. To my son Theophilus Bagge 40 acresadjcent the land belonging to the heirs of Arthur Teackle & Kendall Beach for life. To son Samuel Bagge the remainder of my land including the 40 acres lent my son Theophilus, provided he pay to my 3 grandchildren Andrew Wyatt, Ismae Wyatt & Sally Wyatt, children of William Wyatt, the sum of 10£ as they severally arrive to the age of 21 years. To granddaughter Sally Bunker. Sons William & Luke Bagge Exrs. Witt: William Gibb, John Bell Gibb, William Gibb, Jr. In order of probate: Thomas Smith qualified.

26 May 1812 Solomon Walter was mentioned in court (Nottingham Land Causes,
p. 98, 99).
Solomon enlisted in the military in 1814 in Northampton Co.,
VA in the Militia (War of 1812, p. 116). He was listed on Pay Roll of Captain Richard Johnson's Company of the twenty-seventh Regiment
of Virginia Militia, Northampton County, in the service of the United States commanded
by Col Major Major S. Pitts, from 29th April to 28th June 1814. The text reads: Solomon

Solomon Walter and Sally Bunker had the
following children:
i. Margaret Smith Cooper Walter was born circa 1805. Margaret died on 8 July 1869. She married Sheppard Abel Joynes on 12 August 1825 in Northampton Co., VA (Mihalyka Marriages, p. 62). Joynes, Shepherd Abel to Peggy Smith Cooper Walter 8 August 1825; (son of John Jr & Peggy Joynes; daughter of Solomon Walter & Sally Bunker Walter, his wife); Thos Meholloms as to Shepherd's age; m 12 August 1825. Sheppard was born in Northampton Co., VA on 30 September 1798. Sheppard was the son of John Joynes Jr. and Peggy Wyatt Joynes. Sheppard died on 16 January 1872. In John Joynes' will on 12 November 1814 in Northampton Co., VA, Sheppard was named as an heir. It was probated 11 September 1815 (Scott Wills, p. 89). An abstract of his will reads:ii.. Ann B. Walter was born circa 1807.
