At a Court of quarter Session held in Accomack County Novemr 29th 1788

against - In Debt
Ardis heir at law to Edwd Ardis Deft

By Consent of Parties by their Attorneys and on their motion It is ordered that the Surveyor of this County at the costs of the lesse of the Plaintif do go upon the lands in controversy before next march Court and Survey and lay out the same as each party shall direct, and return five fair plats and reports thereof to the clerks office, before the first day of next March Court, and the sherif is to attend said Survey and remove force if any offered

In Obedience to the above Order of the Worshipful Court of Accomack County I Parker Barnes D. Surveyor of the sd County have on the day aforsd gone on the lands in Controvery between the parties in the sd Order mentioned, and under the direction of sd Parties and Surveyed the same, which lands do lie in the Parish and County of Accomack and are bounded as follows, Vizt. on the S.W. by the lands of Solomon Marshall on the S.E. by the lands of the heirs of Joseph Baldwin on the M.E. by the lands of James Benston and on the N.W. By the lands of Meshack Feddaman for the plats, Courses, and distances see more particularily as below
