March 13th 1797 Surveyed at the request of Evans Mathews Five hundred and twenty eight Acres of land and divided the same between Jno Mathews Junr and the heirs of Jno Mathews late decd which lands are Situate lying and being in the Parish and County of Accomack and about one and a half Miles in a S. W direction from Log Town and bounded as follows (towit) On the S. W by the lands of Capt William Mathews, Joseph Mathews, [-----] freaze land Widow Shipham & the lands of Jno S. Ker late Robt Bayly [-----] on the N. W by the lands of Jno S. Ker on the N. E by the lands of Wm Mathews (Black beard) and on the S. E by the lands of James Taylor, Staton Mathews, James Mathews & Capt Wm. Mathews the Plat, Courses, Divisions and other particulars see below Parker Barnes DS. AC

Brot over Explanation of the Plat on the other side the lot of Forty five Acres is the Widows Dower and at her Death will revert to Margaret Milburn and who is no in possession of the small lot of 27 Acres the lot of 55 Acres belongs to Hannah Mathews the lot of 73 Acres belongs to Evans Mathews The lot of 64 Acres belongs to Elizabeth Allen P. B.
