Surveyed at the request of Mr William Finney(MT) Twenty five acres of Land Situate. lying & being in the Parish & County of Accomack and bounded as follows towit On the N.E. by a line of marked trees dividing from the land of Jno Moor late of Jno Young On the N.W. by a Small Branch dividing from the Glebe lands, On the S.W. by a line of marked trees dividing from the lands of John Custis late of Griffeth Savage & on the S.E. by a line of marked trees Dividing from the land of the aforsd Finney which lands are now sold [-----] Bell for Courses, distance & Plat see below

NOTE: (MT) is the appreviation for Modestown. Modestown was spelling using two words, Modest Town at the time this survey was taken. This William Finney was given the title MT because there were other William Finneys in the County at this time.
