Wholly resigned to the will of God I John Boswill of Accomack County and State of Virginia do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in form as follows Viz. That after all my Just debts are paid, my will and desire is that all my property real and personal, shall be sold to the best advantage in the Judgment of my hereafter mentioned Executor and the money arrising from the sale as above I give & bequeath as follows.
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Peggy Boswill the Just and full sum of Thirty five dollars to her and her heirs for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto George Prescott the Just and full sum of Fifteen dollars to him and his heirs for ever.
Item I give and bequeath unto my two children Sarah Boswill and James Boswill all the remainder of my estate not already given to be equally divided between them and their heirs for ever. and my will and desire is that my two children Sarah Boswill and James Boswill shall be schooled as much as the Judgment of my Extr. thinks proper. And lastly I appoint my friend Savage Crippen my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. As Witness my hand and seal this the second day of February 1810.

At a Superior court of Law held for Accomack County the 7th day of May 1810 This Last Will and Testament of John Boswill decd was proved by the oaths of John Savage Junr and James Justice witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Savage Crippen the executor therein named taking the oath and giving bond according to Law in the sum of five thousand dollars with William W. Burton and William Justice securities thereto Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form
