In the name of God Amen I John Bunting being in low condition of body but sound & perfect memory and senses thanks be to God for it I doth make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament in manner & form as follows

After my just debts is paid Item I give and bequeath my whole estate unto my wife Peggy Bunting at her disposal, and doth hereby disannull and abolish all other Wills made by me prior to this present will and lastley doth appoint my wife Peggy Bunting and Arthur Watson to be Executors to this my last will and testament

In testamony whereof I John Bunting have set my hand & Seal and date this fourth day of September one thousand and seven hundred and ninety eight

At a District Court held at Accomack Courthouse October 20th 1802 The said last will and Testament of John Bunting was proved by the Oath of Polly Watson a Witness thereto and ordered to be recorded. On the motion of Arthur Watson certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate of the said Will he having taken the Oath of an Executor and together with Elijah Shay and Spencer Smith his Securities entered into and acknowledged a Bond in the penalty of one thousand Dollars with Condition according to law
