In the name of God amen, I Nathan Linton being week of body and of perfect sense and memory I do make this my last will and testament
Item I give to my loving wife Elizabeth Linton two beds and furniture 1 cow and calf 1 chest 1 spinning wheel 1 pine table
Item I give to my son Stephen W. Linton $20.00 dollars also an account I have against Stephen Adams
Item On condition my son Stephen should not come back it is my wish that my daughter Comfort Tiler shall have the whole that I have given my son Stephen W. Linton except Stephen Adam;s account.
Item I give to my son Nathan Linton the whole of my sider warts
Item I give to my daughter Sally Hopkins $5.00
Item After paying my just debts I give the remainder of my estate to my two daughters Leah Hern and Molly White It is my wish that my son William Linton shall be Executor to my estate as witness my hand and seal this the 9th day of August in the year of 1814

The within will and list of Nathan Linton dec'd was proved by the oath of Samuel and Sally Marshall witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded And the motion of William the Executor therein named who took the oath prescribed by law and together with Kendall Silverthorne and William L. Lucas his securities entered into and acknowledged bonds in the penalty of one thousand dollars conditioned as the Law directs certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form
