In the name of God Amen this the 29th day of September one thousand eight hundred and three I Thomas Whealton of Accomack County and State of Virginia do make & Ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following

I lend by Hole Estate both reail and personal unto my living wife in during of her natral life. I give unto my daughter Nancy Whealton the south Land of my lands as far as the main county rode to her and hir heirs forever and one bed and furniture I give unto my daughter Tabitha White the middle part of my land that is to say from the county road to vessels road to her and her heirs forever I give the remainder of my land unto my daughter Hessey Cutler to her and heir heirs forever I give unto my daughter Scarburgh Smith five pounds. I give unto my daughter in law Betsy Thornton one bed and furniture. I leave all of the remainder of my Estate to be equally divided between my son Jno Whealton and my three daughters Nancy Whealton, Tabitha White & Hessey Cutler with the said three daughters counting for the property they have had of in my lifetime to be brought in and counted for in the said Division. I appoint my wife & William Thornton Executor to this my last will and hereby revoke all former wills by me made Sined Sealed and acknowledge in the presents of us

At a District court held at Accomack Courthouse October 14th 1806 This last will and Testament of Thomas Whealton decd was proved by the Oaths of Thomas Fletcher and John Martin witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. On the motion of William Thornton the executor therein named taking the oath and giving bond with Jonathan Mears and John Young securities thereto in the penalty of one thousand Dollars a certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form
