In the name of God Amen I Ann Crippen of Accomack County in Virginia do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Imprimis I give to my son James Crippen One hundred Acres of Land joining Mark Littleton's Land and John Taylor's heirs and half my part of the land on Morrisses Isanad and Assateague Island and if he should die without Lawfull heir the Land that I have given to him to go to his Brother Savage Crippen and if Savage Should die without lawfull heirs to go to my son Samuel Item I give to my son Savage Crippen the remainder part of my plantation in the Woods One hundred and fifty acres more or less with the houses and ill likewise half the land I hold on Morrises Island and Assateague and if he shoud die without Lawfull heirs to go to his Brother James Crippen and if he should die without heir to go to my son Samuel and if Savage Crippen should take a Negro Girl (Merrum) into Slavery again ny desire is that he should forfeit what I have given him and it to go th his Brother James Item I give to my Daughters Esther and Peggy Crippen all my Wearing appear; and of either should die without heir to go to the other I give the remainder part of my Estate to my Daughter Peggy Crippen and if she should die without heir to go to my Daughter Esther Crippen I constitute and appoint my friend William White Daniel Mifflin Thomas Crippen ad Parker Barnes Executors of this my Will In Testimony whereof I hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this 18 day of March 1783 --- NB I desire my friend Daniel Mifflin should have charge of my children and their Estates ---

At a Court held in Accomack County March 25th 1783 This Will was proved by the Oaths of Parker Barnes Thomas Crippen and Esther Custis Witnesses thereto and ordered to be Recorded and on the motion of Thomas Crippen taking Oath and giving John Burton and John West (deep Creek) for his Securities who entered into and acknowledged a Bond for that purpose certificate is Granted him for Obtaining a Probate thereof indue form
