In the name of God Amen I Robert Rogers of the county of Accomack & State of Virginia being Sick & weak in body but of sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the same I do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form as following Viz

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Nathaniel Walter Rogers my plantation whereon I now live to him and his heirs forever Item I give and bequeath to my darter Beatsy Rogers my plantation I purchased of Jonathan Stott lying and being in the county of Northampton to hur and hur heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my darter Nancy Johnson Rogers my plantation that I purchased of thomas Cleg. Also lying and being in the county of Northampton I also give and bequeath to my darter Nancy Johnson Rogers my Negro boy Charls until the year of 1825 then the said Charls to be free agreeable to the former deed in Accomac office. It is my will and desire that m Executors hereafter named shall rase out of my Estate the sum of two hundred and twenty pounds Cash for my darter Nancy Johnson Rogers by the time she arrives to the age of Twenty years, my will and desire is that if thear should not be [-----] for the payment of all my just debts and also the raising of the above sum of two hundred and twenty pounds for my darter Nancy J. Rogers in order to make her poshon equal with my darter Beatsey Rogers that my son Nathaniel W. Rogers and Beatsey Rogers shoul jointly put in and make the sum up to her out of the rents of their lands or some other means that this may be nearly equal as they are equal near & dear to me and if their shold be more that will rais the fore mentioned sum of money for my darter Nancy and the payment of all my just debts my will is that it should be equal Divided between Nathl Beatsy & Nancy Rogers my will and desire is that my liveing wif Susanna Rogers shoul have the use and benefit of the hole of my estate as ling as she lives lastly I do hearby nominate & appint my sun Nathal Walter Rogers to by my hole and sole Executor to this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty fourth of July eighteen hundred and six 1806

At a District court holden at Accomack courthouse October the 15th 1806 this last will and testament of Robert Rodgers was proved by the oaths or Richard Bayly Cradock and Obadiah Thorman witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Nathaniel Rodgers the executor therein named taking the oath and giving bond with Americus Scarburgh Richd Bailey (Craddock) and Edwd Bailey securities thereto in the penalty of four thousand Dollars with condition according to law certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form
