In the name of God Amen I John Smith being sick and weak of body but of perfect Sence and memory thanks be to Almighty God for it knowing it is once appointed for all men to die thought proper to make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth First of all I recommend my Soul to God who Gave it my body I commend to the Earth to be buryed in a Christian like manner not Doubting but through the Mercys of Christ to receive the same And as for my Temporall Estate which God hath blessed me with I Give as followeth (Viz)

Imprimis My Will and Desire that the hundred Acres of land which I sold to Jacob Fox be made over to him and that he should pay to my Extrix Eleven barrels of Corn according to agreement And as for all the rest of my Estate of what manner or form Soever I Give to my Dearly beloved Wife on Consideration of her bringing up my Children And further I do make and ordain my well beloved Wife my whole and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking Disannulling all other Wills, Gifts or Legacies before made In Witness I have here unto Set my hand & affixed my Seal this the 2nd Day of December 1741

The within Last Will and Testament of John Smith Deceased was presented in Court by Keziah Smith his Widow & Relict and the Exetrix therein named who made oath thereto according to Law and the same being Proved by the Oaths of Littleton Lecatt and Daniel Rogers the witnesses thereto is Admitted to Record and on the motion of the said Extrix Certificate is granted her for Obtaining a Probate thereof in due form
