In the Name of God Amen I Susanna Watkinson of Accomack in Virginia being in Weak
& low condition But of sound mind & memory thanks be to God for the same I do make
& order this my Last will & Testament in Manner and form as followeth Item I give
& bequeath unto my Daughter Bridget Chance my best bed high Bedstead Mat & Cord I
give to my Grandaughter Patience Savage one pewter Bason and one linnen Wheel and
one Small Pot & four pewter Plates that she has once had in her Possession Before
Item I Give to my Grand Daughter Anne More one Cow and Calf always Called by the
Family the Black Face Cow & calf and one Great Chest & one Small Box Item I give
to my Daughter in Law Tabitha Watkinson one bed & Blanket & sheet Bolster Bedstead
Mat & Cord & one Large Iron Pott and one old Cup board. Item I Give to my Grand Daughter
Elizabeth Watkinson on Case of Draws Item I give to my Grand Child Leah Watkinson
one Pewter Dish Item I Give to my Daughter Sarah Twiford one Shilling Sterling &
Likewise the said Sarah my Daughter Indebted to my Estate Forty Shillings this Currency
but in Case the said Sarah ever interrupts my Executor that I Leave to my Will nor
none of my Goods Nor Chattles I Desire that she need not be interrupted to pay the
said money but in Case she ever does Interrupt the Exter of my Will I do Desire this
money to be Recovered by my Daughter Bridget Chance my Extor of my Last Will Item
I Give to my Daughter Bridget Chance all the Rest of my Estate that I have not already
given that ever was Called mine in during my natural Life also I appoint my Daughter
Bridget Chance to be whole Executor of my Estate of this my Last Will or Wills Whatsoever
Signed and Sealed in the presence of us Bearing Date the 21st Day of March Ano Domini

held for Accomack County May 30th 1769 This within last Will and Testament of Susanna
Watkinson Deced was presented & proved by the Oaths of the Witness Thereto and admitted
to record And on the Motion of Bridget Chance the Extrix therein taking the Oath
and giving John Meers & Jonathan Meers for her Security who Entered into and Acknowledged
a Bond for that purpose Certificate is granted her for Obtaining a Probate thereof
in Due Form
