In the name of God Amen this is the Last Will & Testament of George Parker Seaside being in perfect Memory but visited with Sickness made the Eighteenth day of July 1748 as followeth First and Bequeath my Soul unto God that gave it to me and next my Body to the Earth from whence it came to be decently Buried and my worldly Estate as follows ----- First give to my faithful wife Amey Parker to her and heir heirs for ever the Choice of one Bed and furniture and her Choice of one horse bridle and Saddle to her and heir heirs forever Secondly I give and bequeath unto my Son John Parker three Cows and Calves and six Ewes and one Ram ro him and his heirs forever Thirdly I give and Bequeath unto my Son George Parker Two Negros, One Bay called Jemmy the other a Girl called Rose To him and his heirs forever Fourthly I give and bequeath to my Son Sacker Parker Two Negros One Boy called Peter the other a Girl called Jenny and a likely Young Horse to be paid to him at the age of Nineteen Years of Age out of my Estate to him and his heirs forever Fifthly I give and Bequeath unto my son William Parker Two Negro Girls the One Calld Judy the other Called Easter my Mill and All appurtenances thereunto belonging and Also Negro Tom for the Miller to him and his heirs forever Sixthly I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Amie Parker One Negro Called Betty her and her heirs forever Seventhly I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Rachael Parker Called Sarah her and her heirs forever And further I lend to my wife Amey Parker Two Negro Women the one called Patience the other called Tabby During her Natural Life then they and their increase if any to be divided between my Youngest children Amey Parker and Rachael Parker and William Parker to them and their heirs forever further my Will is that if any of my children George Parker Sacker Parker Amey Parker Rachael Parker and William Parker die without heirs their part or parts be divided between the survivors and their heirs forever further I my Son John Parker my Still upon Provision he don’t pot his Mother Amey to her widows thirds and if he doth the Still be given to my Son George to him and his heirs forever And further my Will is that the rest of my Estate shall be equally Divided between my five Youngest children George Parker and Sacker Parker Amie Parker Rachael Parker and William Parker and their heirs forever Further my Will is that my Son John Parker have all my wearing apparel ro him and his heirs forever further my Willis that John Blackstone shall have One Cow and Calf paid out of my Estate to him and his heirs forever And it is my Will that my wife Amey Parker my Son John Parker shall be my Lawful Extor to see all my debts paid and see this my Will Performed

At a Court held for Accomack County 29th Novr 1748 The above last Will and Testament of Geo. Parker deceased was presented by the Exrx and the Heir at Law appearing and having nothing to Object against proving same it was proved by the Oaths of the Witnesses and it admitted to Record & and on the motion of the Exrx taking the Oath certificate is granted to her for Obtaining probate thereof in due form
