Last Will and Testament of Mark Litteton

I Mark Littleton of Accomack County Do make and ordain this to be my will and Testament in manner and form following Impremises I lend my wife Raner Littleton the Plantation on where I live during her life or widowhood like wise I lend her the whole of my Personal Estate during her life or widwhood And at her death or marriage I give the aforesaid land to be divided between my sons in manner following to my son George Littleton four acres of Land on the NE corner of my Land adjoining Hezekiah Baker and Robert Davis and the remainder of my Lands to be Equally divided between my two sons Southey Littleton and James Littleton and if my sons or either of them die before they come to lawful age in that case this this Part aforesiad Lands shall revest to my son George.

Item I give to myson Southey my young mare and one young stear, Likewise to my son Southey all my Shoemaker and Carpenter tools and all my cyder Casks and for my son Southey to find one Horse kind or to forfiet his part of my Estate.

Item I give to my son James one Hores and young stear and my three sons to shall be free at 18 years of age.

Item I give _________________ shall be divided between my Two daughters Sarah, Susanna & my son George Littleton I appoint my wife Raner Littleton Executor and my son Southey Executor of this my Last will and Testament.

At a Court Held in Accomack County February 27th 1797 The said will & Testament of Mark Littleton ded was proved by the Oaths of Parker Barnes & George Snead Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Raner Littleton taken oath and givin Savage Cropper and Rueben Rew for security certificate is granted her for obtain a probate thereof in do form
